What is the Mauritius Retirement Visa?

The Mauritius retirement visa (also called the Retired Non-Citizen Residence Permit) is designed for foreigners aged 50 and above who want to live long-term in Mauritius.

To qualify, you must meet one of the following:

  • one must transfer USD 2,000 to a local bank within 60 days of permit approval. 
  •  Thereafter, they must transfer USD 24,000 annually or USD 2,000 monthly. 

The visa lasts 10 years, is renewable, and allows for a peaceful and comfortable retirement in Mauritius. The cost to apply is USD $1,000.
